The Birthing of Teach Us How To Pray
At the tender age of 7 Zawonnica confessed Christ as her personal Lord and Savior. And at the age of 12 she began teaching Sunday School at her local church, where she was also the Secretary of Sunday School. That is the place where she discovered that she had the ability to teach and influence others. She began preaching at the age of 14. Zawonnica always had a longing, passion, and desire to know more about Christ. As a result of her constant seeking after GOD, she has been in ministry for 27 years and counting.
Zawonnica went on and attended college at Southern University A&M, Baton Rouge, La. This is the place where her ministry, and passion for teaching and prayer flourished. Zawonnica founded Measure of Faith Ministry, where she taught the student body the dynamics of Prayer and Strategic Warfare.
Through the prayer ministry each student grew stronger in their prayer lives and within their Faith in YAHWEH.
While attending her local church she sensed a great need to train the body of Christ in stretegic prayer and spiritual warfare. She noticed that there should be more to the church. Church shouldn't just be a place to come and worship and receive a Word/sermon from the Lord, but it should become the training ground for equipping and training the Saints of God how to do life in Christ. As well as train them in spiritual matters, and teaching them who they are within the Kingdom of God which will enable them to combat the plots, plans, schemes, and tactics of the accuser, satan. This is her passion and therefore, Teach Us How To Pray was birthed.
Zawonnica Smith is the adored wife of FD Smith and the blessed mother of two wonderful children Zion and Shiloh Smith. Her call and duty is to make sure her home base is properly trained and equipped; and to go out into all of the world and compel men to come. Zawonnica wants to share her GOD-given wisdom and knowledge with everyone that has a heart after GOD, and for those that are never tired of learning more about Our HEAVENLY FATHER.
Zawonnica desires to teach and train all who are willing to learn, as well as seek ye first the Kingdom of GOD and HIS Righteousness, and all of these things shall be added unto you (Matthew 6:33). Her desire is to pour into all who have a "YES" LORD in their hearts and mouths, who are willing to walk out this "straight and narrow path" daily which leads to eternal life in JESUS CHRIST our LORD and SAVIOR.
